mmdolze 90107086ea Remove native win32 support. We have no report that LCDproc can be natively 
compiled and used with recent Windows systems (Windows Vista/7). Except for
serial drivers (and those using USB->serial adapters) drivers are not expected
to work with those systems.

mmdolze 9ead06df4e CFontzPacket updates: 
- Add a structure describing known models, their features and default settings.
- Use partial screen updates for newer CFA633 versions.
- For CFA533/633 use the same character mapping as for HD44780.
- Fixed a few typos.
- Use C-style comments only.
- Add a warning about the driver being deprecated to CFontz633. Users should
  use CFontzPacket with Model=633 instead.

mmdolze 66023939a1 Cleanup and documentation updates: 
- Remove shared/str.h where not used.
- Remove shared/debug.h from all files as it has been completely replaced
  by shared/report.h (it will be removed later).
- Add more doxygen comments to shared/* and clients/lcdproc/*.
- Include static functions in doxygen output.

mmdolze c9623a72da Add a flush method to the hardware depended functions. It is called whenever 
a sequence of characters or commands have to be terminated (common_init,
position, flush).  Modify the lcd2usb subdriver to implement a small command
buffer and implement flush().

mmdolze 59f3cbdb45 * Automatically exclude the pin for switchable backlight from keypad scanning 
in the 4bit and 8bit wiring. This fixes problems with flickering backlight if
  a slow parallel port is used. IMPORTANT: This may require a hardware change!
* In code comments use the same line names as in the user's guide (Y1/X1
  instead of Y0/X0).
* Add documentation about hd44780-ftdi's 4bit mode.

mmdolze 54a8a63112 Partly revert previous commit. The doxygen style escape sequences look 
nice on the web, but make the source comments really hard to read.
Therefore copy the command descriptions preformatted to html.

mmdolze 38fa2720cf Fix handling of named priorities. 
Any name not in the list of priorities made the screen get hidden. Now
the server returns an error message.
Discovered by lint(1).
