# Arduino-USB

This is a personal driver/controller i wrote for lcdproc to controll a 4x40 hd44780 display through usb.

I will post the driver module to lcdproc soon.

It works by sending serial commands to the arduino, and is based on the works of the original `hd44780` driver in lcdproc by Benjamin Tse <blt@Comports.com>.

## Tested on
* Arduino nano.


## Dependency
I moddified the original `LiquidCrystal` from Arduino LLC to work with 4x40 hd44780 displays, this means adding a second enable line.
This library is included in this repository.

## Known bugs
This driver does not work with the lcdproc client in Rasplex, all widgets expect text are broken.
